Its Time For The Feds To Clean Shop On Morris Park
One day a few years ago I was on the express bus going into Manhattan, in front of us was a dump truck with no license plates on it, the dump truck had a blue tarp over the back that wasn't fastened properly and garbage was flying off the back. One of the things flying off the truck were Little Ceazar's pizza boxes; I was sitting in the front seat, I could see the payload was filled with garbage from commercial businesses and the truck got off the Sheridan Expressway / Major Deegan by Hunts Point. I was surprised the pizza box didn't break the windshield or cause the driver to lose control of the bus, kudos to him; he seemed unphased by it, I wondered why he didn't call Highway 1 (my guess is he's seen it before and knows it involves organized crime).
APPULA MANAGEMENT'S DIRTY LITTLE SECRET
Dorothy and her family were our supers for 30 years or so, now that it no longer suited my landlord to keep her on, she was asked to leave. Enter Danny the DACA brat who works for Appula Management who took her place and the filthy slob couldn't even shine her shoes (but these are good people we're giving amnesty too). SMH
Now we have two unmarked garbage cans (for a 17 unit building, and on the other side of a locked fence are the blue recyclables cans. Danny the DACA slob lets garbage accumulate, making it easy pickings for mice (and soon maybe worse). I've witnessed an Appula Management truck come to pick up some of the trash; I'm not even sure any recycling is being done anymore, it's certainly not being done at the source. When Dorothy was super, everything was kept clean, even though she had a bad back; Joe was paid by Dorothy to clean the halls, shovel snow and take care of the trash and he did it well (he was a really nice person too). I had the occasional mouse even when Dorothy was here, in spite of her having 2 cats; I tried to take the cats when she left, it didn't work out, I think I'm a bit allergic to cats (my mother was, I have many of her bad genes).
Ever since Danny, the DACA slob took over I've been living with mice due to garbage being accumulated and NOT being thrown out as often as it should/could be. Danny's a law-breaking pig and a 17 unit building has to contend with that. I want you to know that these God-awful people we are letting into America (and from other states) like to complain to me, yet they never want to do anything about it. When I wanted to start a Tenants Associated not-a-one of them wanted to be bothered AND I had a lawyer who wanted to back us from NMIC (Northern Manhattan Improvement District) however they were unwilling to go after my landlord for Tenant Harassment, harassment that has gone on since 1980, when my landlord bought the building. Manginelli has gotten away with tenant harassment, illegal electrical repairs, failure to maintain (for decades) and not giving heat (we had no heat on Thanksgiving during 18-degree weather). I want you to know how fake the news really is; I had Ray Villeda contact me on Twitter after reading my tweet on me having no heat on Thanksgiving, he was interested on doing a story about it until he realized I wasn't an NYCHA tenant. SMH
Living with filth is nothing new here since the laundromat from hell (ironically called "Heavenly Angel").

This is a shot of lint from the laundromat bursting through a basket, it was the solution Senator Jeffrey Klein came up with; he was the politician I originally went to for help, and it's also what started my journy down the rabbit hole and my fall from grace (that's another story for another time).
If you don't think you're breathing this crap in, think again; from what I was told, this is a problem wherever you see a laundromat in the Bronx. People got sick and died here, no one cares. This wasn't just a 762 MPA issue either before the laundromat opened (around 1999) there was a dry cleaner in the building next door; we share a courtyard with them. Enterprise Dry Cleaners owned by Justin Lioi and he was forced to close (or upgrade) by the EPA/DEP around the same time Heavenly Angel Laundromat opened. The fact is both of these places have been killing Bronx tenants for decades AND I know as a fact Justin had a New York Yankees contract to clean their uniforms. I know that these greedy pigs would NEVER give that type of contract, a Yankees contract is guaranteed success and payment. The two women that owned it listed the business to an address in Portchester AND one of them was married to an NYPD detective, so again, this Old Boys Networks above the law.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the 49th Precinct is part of the problem. Every two years or so they get a new commander, the old one always leaves an inspector or with a higher rank than when he came in; they're rewarded for looking the other way so the mob can get richer and keep screwing Morris Park. Supposedly the last one was from Internal Affairs too. Cops protect cops, just like doctors cover for each other. The good people of Morris Park are paying the price for all this corruption. No one has paid a higher price than me, my family and neighbors sickened and then died; I've lost everything I own (my business equipment, art supplies & my health), not one of my so-called friends helped. No government agency, feds, attorney general/s or the Bronx district attorneys will go after these people/politicians either (I use the plural b/c we've gone through several AG's & DA's through it all (Andrew Cuomo being one of them).

After the New York Yankees games I'd watch the people working in the laundromat's basement, there was a red washing machine they'd use; tell me, why would you be using a washing machine in the basement when you have a whole floor of washing machines street level and after business hours when they were closed?. My landlord'solution was to brick up windows (so I couldn't see what they were doing).This was a fire hazard for our firemen, bricking up windows that could've been used as an egress for the FDNY if there was ever a fire here; and yes, fires are very common in laundromats, all that lint is still accumulating somewhere and it is and always will be a fire hazard (along with people leaving lighters in their pockets and putting their clothes in the dryers).
This is the construction company that bricked up the windows using illegal immigrants; they threatened to run me over and followed me up to Community Board 11, guess they didn't like me taking their picture. Too bad!
